The New HLA Section
We are proud to introduce the HLA section on the Variant report. In the future we will be launching videos next to specific HLA mutations.
HLA cell surface proteins are responsible for the regulation of our immune system. Human leukocyte antigens help the immune system distinguish the body’s own proteins from proteins made by foreign invaders such as mold, viruses and bacteria.
HLA DR/DQ and B27 have been related to Human Papilloma Virus vaccine injury.
We hope that this section is found to be a useful tool for practitioners to be able to address their patients’ chronic health care needs.
