Hi, I am Rick and after 20 years of being very sick and dropping over $360,000 (after insurance) on docs and treatment i hope the results below will be the first step in me being able to leave my house. It is impossible for me to be around people as if I get a few breaths of laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, deoderant I have horrible symptoms that last for days. If around more toxic chemicals such as perfume, hairspray, etc the symptoms are much worse.

    Quick summary:
    43 yo M
My diet: drink only good water, no gluten, no wheat, no dairy, no sugar, few simple carbs, no red meat
My environment: I have zero toxic chemicals in my house which includes furniture, bedding, cleaning supplies, soap, etc. Nothing is allowed in my house if it is new or toxic or fresh smelling, etc.
Past issues: mercury toxicity (resolved), alot of exposure to 2nd hand smoke, perfume, hairspray and poor diet when growing up.
Current Treatment: Chinese herbs to help detox and calm down immune response to chemicals when exposed

I am looking for insight on my results below and whom might be a good person to speak to….THANKS!

How are your acytl choline levels? How is your cholesterol? What about your NAT2 genes.

Please remember this is a blueprint as to what can be happening.

You will have to go to a doctor in order for a doctor to look at your genomics and then determine testing from there to see what is not working.

For instance, people with NAT2 genes will have multiple chemical sensitivity when Acetyl choline levels are low. People with NAT2 are sometimes poor acetylators. Then a doctor would want to look at cholesterol. If cholesterol is low then they would assume that acetyl choline is low. Then they would want to possibly give phosphotydal choline in order to raise cholesterol and then would want to see if the cholesterol is breaking down into acetyl choline. And before giving phos choline they would want to make sure the gut is clear from bacterias because certain bacterias can eat the choline and put a toxic gas in the liver that they actually use in crystal meth.

You may set something up to speak with me but I cannot diagnose or treat. It takes me 2 hours. It would take me 2 days to write what I know about these genes that you have. That 2 hours does cost $100 but if you do not have money, let me know because I NEVER turn anyone away. I can be contacted at 504-616-0965. What you will learn is what I know about the genes. It is recorded for you to go back over.

Today is memorial day and I am not working but you may call tomorrow.

    Hope to hear from you.

    Rick,
I have MCS and have had success in improving it. According to Sherry Rogers (Detoxify or Die) low glutathione is the culprit for MCS. For every toxin molecule you breathe in, one glutathione molecule is used up to detoxify it. If you’re low in glutathione, you won’t be able to detoxify, for example, perfume, and a tiny little amount that wouldn’t bother most people is like someone poured a gallon on you.

Your particular SNPs which affect glutathione are MTHFR A1298C (folate) the MTRRs (B12) and GSTP (glutathione).

You can raise glutathione by doing methylation treatment (i.e. methylfolate + B12). This is what works for me. You may need to do CBS treatment before you can tolerate methylation treatment. In addition, if the CBS pathway is not operating correctly, you won’t be able to make glutathione. You have the major CBS (CBS C699T) and several BHMTs, which can cause CBS to be upregulated. This is not a given, so you’ll need to go by testing and symptoms to determine if CBS is expressed or not, and needs treatment or not. I had to do CBS treatment.

You can also take glutathione directly, but some people have problems tolerating it. Ben Lynch suggests taking NAD along with the glutathione, so you make the good reduced glutathione and not the bad oxidized glutathione. I have not tried this, but perhaps this is why people have trouble tolerating it. That, plus, it will start your body detoxing metals and other things which it has squirreled away in the tissues. You may feel worse as the toxins come out.

Prior to discovering methylation, I went to a environmental medicine doctor and got neutralization drops. This also worked well for my MCS, but is a band-aid fix compared to methylation, which is getting to the root of the problem.

I would need to know more, but FUT2 SNPs and HLA SNPs are telling for autoimmune. Please work with Sterling and/our a good Practitioner, and stop wasting $’s. Cynthia
