I’m about to have back surgery for spinal stenosis. It’s a 20 year old issue and I’m out of therapies. I’ve done everything from acupuncture to yoga to decompression to pain injections and many opinions later decided to get it “fixed”.

My question..What should I be aware of with surgery and the methylation and CBS issues?

I’ve made big strides with fixing my gut and have none of the symptoms that have plagued me in the past.

    Any thoughts?

I would say to keep your diet and supplements constant through the surgery and recovery.

    Good luck and God bless.

Taking curcumin/turmeric post-surgery will greatly expedite healing and calm down inflammation. Fish oils will help as well.

Anesthesia impairs the MTR and MTRR enzyme. A bit of “front-loading” of B12 may be in order, prior to the surgery. Cynthia
